A rapper Iggy Azalea lidera a lista de nomeados aos «American Music Awards», com seis nomeações. Logo atrás, seguem Katy Perry, Pharrell, e John Legend, com cinco nomeações cada um.
Iggy está nomeada nas categorias de «Artista do Ano», «Single do Ano» com «Fancy» (colaboração com Charli XCX), «Melhor Artista Feminina Pop/Rock», e «Melhor álbum Rap/Hip Hop».
